甚麼是乳癌？
乳房是一個腺體的器官，由乳腺組織、脂肪、結締組織組成，當婦女懷孕時，乳腺可以製造和分泌乳汁喂哺嬰兒。但當乳腺細胞失控分裂和生長，就會形成腫瘤，腫瘤分為良性及惡性，乳房內的惡性腫瘤就是乳癌。
有甚麼服務提供患者支援予乳癌症患者，包括乳健檢查及情緒支持等？
「香港乳癌基金會」於2005年3月8日成立，是本港首間專注乳健教育、患者支援、研究及倡議的非牟利慈善組織，致力減低乳癌在本地的威脅。
