甚麽是乳癌？
乳房是一个腺体的器官，由乳腺组织、脂肪、结缔组织组成，当妇女怀孕时，乳腺可以制造和分泌乳汁喂哺婴儿。但当乳腺细胞失控分裂和生长，就会形成肿瘤，肿瘤分为良性及恶性，乳房内的恶性肿瘤就是乳癌。
有什么服务提供患者支援予乳癌症患者，包括乳健检查及情绪支持等？
“香港乳癌基金会”于2005年3月8日成立，是本港首间专注乳健教育、患者支援、研究及倡议的非牟利慈善组织，致力减低乳癌在本地的威胁。
